電池事業不賣了，Sony政策急轉彎找 NEC 合作闖難關

大環境改變，訂單有增加，Sony 看到了曙光。 根據日經新聞（Nikkei）披露，原本有意兜售電池事業的 Sony，近期因受惠日幣走貶與訂單增加的影響，再加上智慧型手機與穿戴式裝置行情看俏，有意保留電池事業並與日產汽車、NEC 攜手合作延續其事業生命。 基於電子產品市場長期受到韓國三星 SDI 的猛烈攻勢影響，去年傳出 Sony 有意脫手營收數字低迷的小型電池製造事業，更一度與鴻海接觸磋商。今年 Sony 轉向與日產和 NEC 合資的 Automotive Energy Supply，也是製造汽車用電池的廠商合作，雖是有意成立全新公司共同發展，但根據了解目前雙方仍然在摸索建構合作關係的狀態。 雖然危機不算完全遠離，但近期日圓走貶和訂單增加的影響，無疑讓 Sony 幫找到一個暫時喘氣機會，這才讓 Sony 重新審視電子產品採用的小型電池其未來產業價值，這才讓 Sony 回心轉意保留電池事業，更決定納入核心事業的一環持續發展。

App Store 內部調查，Apple iOS 7 更新率達 78%

在推出三個半月後，iOS 7 的安裝率已經達到 78%。 根據 Apple App Store 支援網頁的最新數字，iOS 7 在推出三個月，安裝率高達 78%。這表示已經有近 8 成的 iOS 裝置都已經更新到最新系統。而目前還留在 iOS 6 的裝置有 18%，另外僅有 4% 裝置使用 iOS 5 之前的系統。 在 12 月稍早，Apple 回報的 iOS 7 安裝率為 74%，在短短不到一個月的時間內就上升 4%，顯然 Apple 在年底購物季賣出不少新的 iOS 裝置。另外如此高的更新率應該也和 Apple 要求開發者一定得提供 iOS 7 相容的 app 有關，有些 app 甚至限制僅有 iOS 7 才能使用，因此讓使用者不得不升級。 另外 iOS 7 除了介面大改外，也新增不少過去必須越獄才能使用的功能，讓使用者不需等待越獄工具就可以升級。不過就許多使用者的心聲來看，如果 Apple [...]

執行禁制令需付出高額保證金，德法院對 HTC 侵害專利案做出判決

行動裝置已勝過 PC，Google 執行董座大膽預測 2014 年發展

Google 執行董座 Eric Schmidt 在受訪時表示行動裝置已壓倒 PC。 向來發言大膽 Eric Schmidt 又在接受彭博社採訪時發表自己對於 2014 年的預測，他認為：「每個人都將會有一支智慧型手機，行動裝置漸漸贏得上風是一直以來的趨勢，不過它現在已經獲得勝利。」他並在稍後指出平板電腦和智慧型手機的銷售數量已經超過 PC。 Schmidt 也表示：「巨量資料和機械智能將隨處可見」，並將成為新服務的重要基石，並提供定位和評價使用者的能力，而且將會影響全球所有企業。而在基因工程方面，Schmidt 表示「我們並不是真的知道會發生什麼事」，不過在基因定序上的發展，加上個人基因紀錄實現，將在明年對於癌症的治療與診斷有所助益。 而另一個出人意表的預測是 Google 不會再錯失發展社群服務的機會，Schmidt 承認：「我犯的最大錯誤就是沒有預期到社群網路現象的興起，我們不會再犯這個錯誤。雖然我們可以藉口說當時正在開發許多其他服務，不過我們過去應該參與這個領域的發展，這是我的錯。」 雖然 Eric Schmidt 預測了 2014 年科技在多方面的發展，不過並未表示 Google 有任何服務可以在 2014 年稱霸。在 2011 年時，他曾表示：「在 2012 年夏天，大多數你看到的電視都會搭載 Google TV。」這個預測顯示失準，而目前 Google 正將它的未來壓注在穿載式裝置和機器人上。 Source
